Biographical note | William H. Loy, III was a native of Alamance County, North Carolina who served during the Vietnam War as aprt of the 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Division. After leaving the Navy, he earned an engineering degree from East Carolina University worked as an engineer for the telephone company now known as Embarq. |
